Imagine the unstoppable talent and magnetic charisma of Taquan "Percy" Brown, an American actor and entertainer whose roots can be traced back to the vibrant and fast-paced city of New York. A powerhouse of intellect and strategy, Percy honed his skills in competitive chess for six years, beginning at the young age of 7. His creative passions eventually led him to pursue acting at 14, sparking an unstoppable trajectory to success.
Upon graduating from Hudson Honors Middle School, he attended the prestigious Urban Assembly School for the Performing Arts, for Theatre and Dance. He trained, studied and performed with the Award-Winning Epic Theatre, an not-for profit Theatre company whose exceptional work earned them recognition  and was awarded the National Arts and Humanities Youth Program Award from the President’s Committee on the Arts and Humanities from former First Lady Michelle Obama. He performed Shakespeare with Epic Theatre all around NYC, such as portraying Don Pedro in Much Ado About Nothing and Polixines in A Winters Tale. His work won him scholarships to attend On Camera acting courses at the New York Film Academy, NYU and Columbia University. Upon graduating with his major in Theatre and Minor in Dance, Percy went on to study Theatre at St. Bonaventure University under the successful Dr. Ed Simone. His work with SBU Theatre ended up earning him a nomination for the coveted Irene Ryan's scholarship at Kennedy Center American College Festival Region 2 for his work in Steve Martin's Picasso at the Lapin Agile as Freddy and Twelfth Night as Orsino. It was there that he earned his BA in Fine Arts/Theatre, graduating in 2018, and was bestowed honors for his theatre work and he won  the coveted "Most Ideal Bonaventure Man Award" – a testament to his dedication and talent.
Percy's growing fan base, which has its roots in his diverse range of appearances on the popular YouTube channel Jubilee Media, is a clear indication of his undeniable charm and acting prowess. With over 15 million views across various platforms, it's evident that audiences have been captivated by his performances. Boasting an impressive resume of over 35 credits across theatre, new media, commercials and film work, Percy's star power only continues to shine brighter.
Not one to rest on his laurels, Percy expanded his creative reach by launching ThePrinceofFreshAir Podcast in 2020, a platform that has grown exponentially and now reaches global audiences.
